The Brevard Ballet Youth Company is a community-supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the performing company of Brevard Ballet Academy.
Founded in 2018 by Academy Director and Artistic Director Elena Shokhina, the Youth Company was created to provide aspiring dancers with exceptional performance opportunities while bringing the beauty of classical ballet to audiences throughout Brevard County. After years of growing Brevard Ballet Academy through expanded enrollment, an outstanding faculty, and enhanced facilities, Elena realized her vision of establishing a youth company dedicated to artistic excellence and classical ballet education.
Since its founding, the Brevard Ballet Youth Company has presented full-length productions including My Christmas Dream, The Nutcracker Ballet, Cinderella, Swan Lake, and Paquita and the Future of Ballet, inspiring audiences while providing young dancers with invaluable stage experience.
